1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ReviewByte ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Description of Service

ReviewByte automates review monitoring, AI reply generation, automatic posting of replies to connected platforms (subject to sensitive-review approval rules), and owner notifications via SMS and email. When you connect Google, Facebook, or Instagram using official APIs, you authorize ReviewByte to access and store your reviews (including historical reviews) and owner replies for the purpose of providing alerts, AI replies, analytics, and insights.

3. Business Owner Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information shared, including any account credentials and API keys.

4. AI-Generated Content

Our AI replies are generated automatically and may require review in sensitive cases. ReviewByte is not liable for any reputational or regulatory consequences from AI-generated text.

5. Payment & Subscription

Subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment provider (Stripe) and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel anytime in the dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals at the end of the current paid period. Unless otherwise stated, refunds or credits are not provided for partial billing periods.

New customers receive a 7-day free trial with full features. No credit card is required to start. If you do not subscribe after the trial, premium automation pauses until you upgrade.

Payments are processed by Stripe; ReviewByte does not store full card details.

6. Limitation of Liability

ReviewByte is provided "as is." We are not responsible for damages or data loss resulting from interruptions, API changes, or third-party service failures.

7. SMS and Email Messaging

By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive automated SMS and service emails from ReviewByte about review alerts, sensitive-review approvals, and important account notifications for your own business pages. These messages are service/utility communications, not marketing campaigns. Message frequency varies based on your review volume - some days you may receive no messages, other days you may receive multiple alerts depending on review activity. Message & data rates may apply for SMS. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS and HELP for help at any time. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
